Is solid brass better than plated hardware?
Yes. We use solid brass because it is rust-proof and won't chip or peel like "brass-plated" steel. It’s ideal for dogs who love the beach or rainy hikes. Note: Over time, brass develops a natural patina, which you can easily polish off if you prefer a shiny look.

How do I clean my leash?
Since it’s waterproof, just wipe it down with warm water and soap. If you’ve been in the mud, a quick rinse under the tap and a pat dry with a towel will make it look brand new again.
